3. Try to reduce stress levels.
It probably is no surprise that stress influences our ability to focus, take in information, process it, and then retrieve it. So, reducing stress will help improve memory.
4. Get enough sleep.
Studies have shown the importance of sleep to memory and learning. It is during sleep when the mind assimilates the information it has taken in during the day. It is important to get to bed at the same time each night and to wake up at the same time each morning. Make sure also that the room is dark and quiet. Turn the television off.
5. Get some exercise.
There are a lot of ways to do this, and there are no excuses for not doing it. It is just too important to ignore, not just for memory improvement but for overall good health.
6. Avoid smoking, alcohol
These things affect memory and should be avoided if you want to keep your memory sharp.
