The situations people encounter today usually do not have clear cut answers. People need to feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

3. Tenacity
Leaders value people who are not affected by setbacks or failures, but continue toward their goals with purpose. People these days call that quality grit. No matter what you call it – fortitude, resilience, tenacity, persistence, or grit – it is a quality that is necessary to succeed.

4. Working in a team
In today’s workplace, cooperation and knowing how to work with others is especially important. Companies realize that people can get a lot more accomplished working in teams than individually.

5. Tact
Tact is defined in the dictionary as “a keen sense of what to say or do to avoid giving offense, skill in dealing with difficult or delicate situations.” It is a kind of emotional intelligence, the knowledge of how to interact with others, to persuade them and work with them.
